Applications are invited to work with one of the leading real estate firm in Mumbai.

Job Title : AGM / DGM/ GM -Marketing

Based at : Corporate office, Mumbai

Context/Scope : Resumes are invited for a fantastic opportunity to manage key brand/s of India's foremost real estate organization. You will be tasked with the development of the marketing strategy for the brand/s. It's non- negotiable that the successful candidate will have an extensive track record of achievement from - nimble-footed consumer facing businesses and be able to show an exceptional level of understanding in marketing. The incumbent will be amongst the key members of the marketing organization.

Dimensions :

- Financial- Full accountability for development of pricing and pricing strategies along with commercial budget(s) spend and allocation. Responsibility towards maximizing gross contribution at segment and brand level at targeted sales volume

- Market Complexity- This role will lead the innovation & launch agenda across brands and segments as well as future hunting grounds

- Leadership Responsibilities- Leading and influencing a cross functional team and key stakeholders,Leading the concept development process,Leading commercialization and revenue generation of new and ongoing brands

Purpose of Role :

- The opportunity space is large and diverse, as well as attractive & challenging. This role will require strong strategic skills, as it will lead the thinking on overall strategy, business model, consumer initiatives, brand planning, and budget management across the various geographies & categories.

- A key part of this role is to also ensure the use of creative excellence, disciplined project leadership and management in crafting new opportunities from multiple start points. The ability to navigate through key stakeholders within the organization will be necessary for success and traction. As a key business stakeholder you will also be the repository of learning for future opportunities, on which the business will lean on for development of business strategies.

Top 3-5 Accountabilities :

a) Revenue generation (residential sales turnover of ~Rs.7000 cr. in FY 2010-1; top 2 in India)

b) P&L Management (brands with LCV ranging from Rs. 300 cr. to Rs. 18,000 cr. )

c) Market Share (we are no. 1 in all India sales for CY 11 & in Mumbai Metropolitan Region the next 5 players add up to our numbers)

d) Brand imagery (most desired real estate brand in Mumbai as per syndicated research by a top research firm and also the no.1 spender in the RE category)

Qualifications and Experience Required :

- Candidates from top b-schools (IIMs, FMS, XLRI, IIFT, JBIMS, NMIMS) preferred batches would be 2008- 2014) currently working with best FMCG, consumer durables, automobiles or other consumer facing businesses. Candidates should have had hands-on experience on marketing launches, using marketing channels to create qualitative - quantitative value for the brand, anchoring research & consumer insights, exposure to brand management practices, proven marketing strategy execution capabilities.

Role :

- The incumbent will be responsible for a brand category, of which the lead brand is the most prestigious and amongst the top 3 brands from a revenue perspective in the overall portfolio. Additionally she/he will be given a horizontal responsibility within 3-4 months of coming on board.

- She / He will drive the P&L for the brand/s alongside the thinking on brand planning, consumer initiatives, consumer insights & market intelligence, business model, and budget management across the various geographies nationally and internationally. Additionally as a key business stakeholder the incumbent will also be the repository of learning for future opportunities, on which the business will lean for development of business strategies.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the thinking on overall strategy, business model, consumer initiatives, brand planning, and budget management across the various geographies & categories. Lead the innovation & launch agenda across brands and segments as well as future hunting grounds.

- Lead the concept development process for each of the segments.

- Manage the brand communication and product strategy from inception to delivery of the brand and ensure that each brand measures up to the overall consumer positioning and segment goals.

- Lead commercialization and revenue generation of new and ongoing brands.

- Focus on multiple channels for marketing including new media/ social media etc.

- Organize promotional events within budgetary allocations.

- Handle appropriate media selection for advertising new product launch campaigns.

- Manage the brand communication mix and handle the ATL/BTL promotional activities for the segment.

- Develop annual and project specific brand promotion plans and handle participation at various events.

The Person :

- She / He would be an MBA from a top notch business school with 10 plus years of extensive track record and achievement with an exceptional level of understanding in marketing.

- The incumbent should have proven track record of working on brands/categories which are super-premium & price agnostic and have found preference with consumer's basis its ability to create desirability and affinity.

- Preferred candidate should have a sound understanding of the category (services or products).

- The right candidate will be flexible, and an action & result oriented self-starter.

- An independent thinker with the conviction and entrepreneurial spirit to manage the function and business in a hands-on manner and the ability to work in a fluid and rapidly changing environment would be an asset.

- Should have a strategic approach with the ability to see the big picture and interpret environmental and organizational changes and their impact on the organization.

- Exposure to managing & maintaining relationship with top management in current role should be there.

- The ability to navigate through key stakeholders within the organization will be necessary for success and traction.
