Job Purpose:
Will be responsible for two large streams in SAP CoE for Logistics and Trading modules
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the oversight, development and execution of SAP Logistics and Trading modules. Experience on
- Materials and SD, order to cash (OTC), Trading (Contract, Trade Expense, Position management, PO, SO & WM) and procure to stock (PTS) processes.
- Owns, manages and mentors SAP Logistics and Trading, Development and continued development- optimize deployed solutions (data consistency, safeguard existing SAP processes, problem resolution, process design)
- Provides specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP solution. Good knowledge of different procurement processes like direct, indirect, third party, sub-contracting, stock transport orders, stock transfers, account assigned POs, asset procurement, consignment etc.
- Responsible for the accuracy and execution of business-focused solutions and effective integration between business functions through ongoing collaboration between the support team, internal IT, outsourced vendors, SAP Business Solution Architect and the Project Management office
- Responsible for vendor partner management with functional business areas; ensure that agreed upon service levels are consistently met or exceeded.
- Oversee the design, configuration, testing and implementation of new business applications in Logistics and Trading domain. Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, HPQC.
- Good skills in configuring warehouse management structures (storage types, storage bins, quants). Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this knowledge
- Ensure successful completion of Root Cause Analysis for all critical and high severity incidents; enable resolution and related communication as appropriate. Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.
- Ensure compliance to existing, and development of required data and reporting standards.
- Ensure the integrity of configuration of the SAP system across multiple landscapes.
- Support production configuration and assist in functional change requests.
- Support business implementations by sharing best practice configuration skills.
- Assist with responding to user requirement, problem resolution, develop designs, and process modelling.
- Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change requests and prototype activities.
- Demonstrate proof of concept & assist in training activities
- Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Serve as the escalation point for the integrity, review and analysis of data, on-going audits and reporting.
- Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP Solution Manager,
SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools & processes, HPQC, project implementation and production support experience.

Relevant Experience :
- 15-18 years of experience
- Preferably worked in a Trading house with SAP GTM and/or a supply chain function using SAP MM, SD, WMS
- 6 to 8 years of SAP configuration with minimum two End to End Implementations and at least three Support Projects
- 3 years Project Management, with project implementation and production support experience.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time -management skills
- Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation and conflict management skills
- Knowledge of using Solution Manager for managing projects and change management
Academics :
- Technical Degree (BE/B.Tech)
