Adani - Head - Applications & System Integration

Key Deliverables:

- In the interim, provide the necessary technology leadership and quality assurance to the SI program and staff the design authority function

- Own the Adani central IT applications portfolio of Adani(e.g. SAP), assess technology trends and develop a road-map for the same

- Provide insights into latest application related technology trends, assess value and work with Enterprise Architect in evaluating feasibility of adopting them for Adani IT architecture

- Develop and maintain group wide IT application related technology policies/ standards

- Provide application expertise and governance (SAP, Central Apps & domain specific applications, new technologies) to Group IT

- Oversee application changes and delivery performed by ITO partner

- Review & assess application solution/ workload proposed by IT partners

- Review and approve the design of applications projects, ensuring adherence to IT architecture policies and standards

- Coordinate with BU IT to ensure appropriate choice in BU IT applications in line with the overall enterprise architecture and group IT policies & standards

- Coordinate with Head, Infrastructure to ensure end-to-end SLAs for applications are adhered to and escalate any issues with the ITO partner's delivery

Educational Qualifications:

- Required : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT systems, Computer Science or related field from a premier institute.

- Preferred : Master' s Degree / MBA in Information Systems or related field from a premier institute.

Experience:

- Total Experience of 15 - 22 Years in IT service delivery organization.

- 10+ Years in leading applications governance in SAP environment.

- Prior experience in leading large SAP implementation, managing large application portfolio in the backdrop of a large SAP transformation / SI program.

- Experience in managing SAP and other applications in a strategic IT outsourcing operating model.

- Experience in one/ more of industry segments.
