Career Level: Analyst / Consultant   Work Location: Gurgaon  Industry: Management Consulting / Analytics   About the team : Marketing Analytics  - Marketing Analytics understands the importance of sound analytical decision-making, relationship of tasks to the overall project, and executes projects in the context of a marketing/ retail business performance improvement initiative.  Duties and Responsibilities:   - Develop statistical models to support marketing efforts such as customer segmentation acquisition and retention   - Develop statistical testing programs to measure and improve on-going performance of marketing campaigns   - Apply appropriate techniques such as exploratory data analysis regression bootstrapping trees cluster analysis survival analysis and so on.  - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in data analytics and statistical modeling like Regression Clustering Forecasting Segmentation.   - Should be able to extract strategic insights from large data sets.   - Should have worked on SAS and posses good client management people management and solutioning skills.  - Industry Experience in any of the following areas is mandatory: Telecom, BSFI, Retail, Pharma, Healthcare, CPG, Consumer Packaged Goods.  Educational Background/qualifications  - PG in Statistics or Econometrics or Economics   - Preferred: M.Phil or PhD in Statistics or Econometrics  Requirements:   - 2 to 6 years of experience in consulting or analytics with a reputed organization is desirable Experience in market mix modeling and or retail chain analytics is highly desirable.   - Should have rich hands-on experience in econometric or statistical modeling and analysis techniques such as regression analysis hypothesis testing multivariate statistical analysis time series techniques optimization techniques and statistical packages such as SAS mandatory  - Should be Proficient in Excel MS word PowerPoint etc.   - Should have strong analytical skills be a good team player pay attention to details and have good communication skills.  Soft Skills  - Strong coding skills  - Good team player  - Attention to details  - Good communication skills
