Supply Chain Planning/SAP APO consulting role  This role is for an AIIT Analyst/Consultant in the Products Operating Group who will provide deep domain skills to help clients with strategy and business planning and have focus / exposure to one or more of the following areas:   - Demand & Supply Planning  - Sales & Operations Planning  - Inventory & Materials Management  - Process mapping and process documentation skills.  - Experience in SAP APO Demand Planning and Supply Network Planning  The AIIT Analyst/Consultant will be responsible for helping in driving our AIIT clients- strategy and business planning efforts. Responsibilities may include:  Project Delivery: Work with small to medium-size teams to deliver projects for global clients.   Responsibilities may include strategy and process design in the following areas:  - Demand Planning  - Master Production Scheduling  - Planning Assessment from Process and System Standpoint (SAP APO)  - Production Planning  - Sales & Operations Planning  Supply Chain Assessment :   - Apply fundamentals of issue-based problem solving and supports efforts to structure and analyze issues.   - Make inferences when available information is insufficient.  - Apply basic statistics.  - Interpret data in context of industry and company-specific issues.  - Describe how high performance in key functional areas contributes to value creation   - Use insights into industry technology trends, functional challenges and competitive issues to shape client solutions.  Business Development : Support efforts of global sales team to identify and win potential opportunities within the practice  Industry Expertise : Experience in automotive and industrial goods is preferable.  Domain Development : Develop assets and methodologies, develop of points-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, conduct public speaking and publish in industry periodicals  Experience :  - A minimum of 2 years for Analyst level and 5 years for Consultant level of progressive industry (MNC companies) and/or consulting experience in the discrete industry, and preferably in automotive and industrial goods sector  - Experience in SAP APO is Mandatory  Demand Planning (SAP APO DP) :   - Supply Network Planning (SAP APO SNP)  - Production planning and Detailed Scheduling (APO PPDS)   Consulting or Industry experience across one or more of the following areas:  - Demand Planning   - Supply Planning  - Production Planning  - Process knowledge of Supply Chain Planning  - Supply Chain Process Design  - Process mapping skills  - Process documentation skills  - Strong command of MS Office Portfolio  - Strong program management skills  - Strong Problem solving and analytical skills  - Strong communication skills.  - Experience working with - C- level executive clients  - MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 B School  - Global exposure through education or working experience will be desirable  Key Competencies and Characteristics :  - Possesses excellent communication (written and oral) skills and excellent presentation skills  - Comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the C level executives in a range of environments  - Comfortable functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm  - Excellent team work and ability to work in distributed delivery environment  - Possesses and demonstrates high integrity and credibility as perceived by all those with whom s/he will work  - Strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts  - Be diplomatic, flexible, and have a good team approach  Travel - Ability to accommodate global travel minimum 40%
