Primary Purpose of the Role - Perform Risk Assessment &amp; Control Implementation - Perform and support Control testing - Drive Policy and Authority Matrix Compliance - Implement &amp; support Control Self-Assessment (CSA) - Drive Finance Excellence Program - Act as an Finance PPM - Drive special project initiatives in the areas of Internal Control or Process Optimization Job responsibilities 1. Internal Controls Design and Validation - Assist in designing and evaluating internal controls that are integrated with the business processes; - Participate in the deployment of the Controls program according to the Global ABI practices; - Plan and document detailed control testing using a risk based approach. 2. Policy and Authority Matrix - Implement and guide the business team on adherence of policy compliance and authority matrix; - Drive policy implementation initiatives; - Drive changes in theGlobal Authority Matrix to India document and guide across the business user; - Ensure changes in the IT systems are aligned to the authority matrix. 3. Control Self-Assessment (CSA) - Prepare and/or Review the CSA submissions and provide dashboards on controls; - Address Global queries pertaining to Controls Maturity at India. 4. Drive Finance Excellence Program (FEP) - Conduct meetings with the Finance Team to implement FEP questions and to evaluate maturity of the processes; - Score and monitor the questions basis evidences and guide the question owner to implement the process; - Liaise with the Global team; - Drive initiatives to improve scores to participate in the Global Excellence Program. 5. Projects - Responsible for various special projects/initiatives to review and improve internal controls compliance and efficiency to ensure that financial, operational and compliance controls are adequate and operating effectively; - Responsible as Planning and Performance Manager for Finance team to liaise with various business teams and support them for function specific queries; - Drive the Credit Committee- chaired by the India Business President, involving the engagement of multiple team; - Solve business problems using tools such as Plan-Do-Check-Act' to drive process efficiency under the mentorship of the Master Black Belt and the CFO. Person Specifications: Education: - Chartered Accountant OR MBA (with Big 4 experience) - CIA / CISA (Optional) Experience/Exposure: - Good understanding of business processes and industry standards - Relevant Statutory Audit and/or Internal Audit experience, necessarily in a Big 4 Audit Firm or top tier industry experience - Experience in financial reporting will be preferable - Experience in SOX will be an added advantage.
