Purpose: Ensure good control &amp; compliance (financial aspects) environment at Brewery and to safe guard assets and inventories of the company Job Responsibilities: Control &amp; Compliance - Ensure all basic internal controls are in place in the Brewery to all financial transactions including appropriate safeguarding of assets - Ensure implementation of Delegation of Authority Guidelines (DAG) and all published company policies having financial/ commercial implications - Ensure implementation and monitoring of SOPs for various business operations keeping in view the Internal Controls - Ensure maintenance of proper and accurate books of accounts in accordance with Company's standard accounting policies - Ensure the showcase of Corporate Governance in each area of Brewery operations Statutory Compliances and Audits : - Ensure compliance on various accounting/ financial/ commercial matters, e.g. statutory, banks, taxation authorities, vendors, customers etc. - To ensure clean Audit - Statutory audit, Tax Audit and other Govt. Audits of the Brewery Budgeting, Planning and Budgetary Controls : - Ensure preparation of function wise Annual Budget considering all aspects and needs of the Brewery and all functions in terms of Capex, BOM, Variable Costs, R&amp;M and Other Controllable and Non Controllable Fixed Costs. - Ensure Proper Scrutiny/ Analysis of all variances - VIC, VLC &amp; ZBB costs of the Brewery and provide a brief commentary on Monthly Basis. - Ensure proper Planning for the availability of funds for duty payments and other payments on time Financial Functions - Ensure timely and accurate preparation and review of Monthly Reports (Flash and other monthly Reports) - Develop an environment of awareness towards costs and initiatives of Cost Savings to produce at optimum cost of production - Ensure optimum income from Scrap generation and regular review to capture un trap areas of Scrap realisation. - Ensure proper Evaluate Capital projects (MEP), proper implementation of internal controls on utilisation of Funds and timely Capitalisation of Capex - Support Brewery Operations on various commercials issues - Review various probable Business risks and keep proper provisions to avoid abnormal losses Other Functions - Act as a Local Subject Matter Experts (SME) of entire region for all Finance &amp; Control activities - Study financial viability &amp; credit worthiness of customers for Scrap and other items and finalize the one who can offer the best rate, while also adhering to the company norms - Ensure regular Follow up for liquidation of slow moving stocks - To provide support for IT Functions of Breweries Qualification &amp; Experience Requirements: - CA with 3-6 years- experience in a manufacturing set up (Alco Bev industry would be an added advantage) - Accounting, Finalization, Month closure, Inventory management, ERP/SAP exposure etc. - Advanced MS Office skills
