Job Responsibilities:  - Lead the Insights team in the delivery of the plans   - Functional/technical expertise: Devise and implement a consistent market research plan aimed at producing actionable, coherent results across brands and business with high standards of quality. Steward the development and implementation of insights, research processes and procedures across the Business Unit.  - Provide high quality support to BU Management, Marketing and Sales teams - via consulting and interpretation of Market Research, contributing to practical action plans.  - Learning Plans: Leverage global standard and consistent methodologies in partnership with partner agencies (Millward Brown, IPSOS, Nielsen etc), and identify appropriate learning plans to meet the BU business needs. Establish and maintain brand/consumer/customer and competitor knowledge base to support consumer and business strategies through appropriate market intelligence  - Opportunity Spotting and Assessment: Proactively identify emerging opportunities in the market (going beyond functional area if required), new trends and recommend NPD initiatives. Support the development of business unit's Business Plans and Strategic Management Reviews. Own the data input side of the Planning Process.   - Insights Capability: Step-change the ability of AB-InBev India business managers to identify new, incremental insights to sales/marketing execution.   - Budget management: plan and manage the BU Insights budget with input from the BU and guidance from the Zone Insights Director - APAC South.  - Managing external partners: In conjunction with Procurement, manage and improve key supplier relationships to maximize service levels, thought leadership and value.  Ideal Candidate:  - PDGBM / MBA majoring in marketing with a min of 6-10 yrs of relevant experience (FMCG or relevant industry is a plus)  - Well versed with full range of consumer and trade research practices as well as exposure to marketing/advertising in more general terms  - Ideally should have both supplier side experience as well as Agency Planning or CPG Client-side CI/research or Consulting experience  - Proficient in quantitative and qualitative methodology; fluency in statistical analyses, ability to summarize relevant information, relate findings to business issues.  - Can manage the following specific types of research independently: Qualitative - from RFP to report (not including moderation), Copy-testing, New Product development/testing, Segmentation/Needs States/Occasion-based segmentation, Brand Tracking, Trends, Package testing, Positioning/Strategy, Retail Audits, Ethnographies etc.  - Strong knowledge of business practices  - Demonstrate thought leadership and proven ability to integrate Marketing Research knowledge from various streams to drive business planning and decisions.  - Influencing and persuasiveness - ability to sell concepts and ideas. Proven analytical, communicational and influence management skills in a matrix set-up.  - Action-oriented with a focus on outcomes and results. Able to prioritise and make judgments on issues quickly (and not always with all the data at hand).  - Excellent English communication skills both written and oral.  - Results oriented, independent, entrepreneurial and self-motivated  - High energy, able to convey a sense of urgency to all issues.
