Aakash Institute - Product Manager - BI & Analytics

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Managing the product portfolio of 2 -3 products, its life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities

- Develop product roadmap and detailed functional specification for product releases and sprints

- Driving a solution set across analytics and business intelligence solution development teams (primarily Development/Engineering)

- Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.

- Lead and direct the Product Engineering, Product Management & Support Groups including Define, implement, monitor, and enforce the continuous improvement of processes and metrics to ensure the engineering organization is creating high quality products within predictable time frames.

- Providing the directions in the process areas of requirement definition, change management, architecture & design, coding, code review, testing and product release.

- Create and implement strategies to continually upgrade the product(s) quality

- As Product Management functionality provide competition and Gap analysis, product roadmap, and Release plan.

- Work effectively with the engineering and other Product Management to continuously improve the quality of the requirements, specifications and other information essential to the creation of high-quality software products

- Ensure Delivery with Timelines & Quality benchmarks

- Evaluating and comparing alternate technologies and solutions.

- Help create and foster a customer-focused culture of quality, creativity, collaboration and accountability - an environment in which individuals and teams take ownership of and immense pride in their work.
