SANFE: The Brand Story

PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE

Sanfe is an idea that we all have had at least once in our lives, but couldn't do anything about it. The idea is to make the world a better place for women.
Sanfe came into the picture when two IIT Delhi students went on a college trip only to find out the miseries faced by women when they had to use unhygienic washrooms on the go. Sanfe started its journey by first producing Stand And Pee gadgets for women. They made sure that no woman had to squat over the dirty washrooms and could easily stand and pee. There has been no looking back since then.
Sanfe then stepped into the period care arena and introduced Cramp Relief Roll-On. Sanfe's Cramp Relief Roll-On was very revolutionary as it received a lot of love and affection from females across the country. It really helped them go through their day without severe menstrual cramps.
Sanfe then introduced other menstrual hygiene products like sanitary pads, tampons, menstrual cups and various other personal hygiene care products such as masks, sanitizers and toilet seat covers.

Sanfe wanted to cater to women of all age groups so after extensive research, we came to know that intimate hygiene was an unheard, but necessary topic to be preached. It then came out with its range of intimate hygiene products like Intimate Washes, Intimate Wipes and Sprays. Women didn't know that it is very important to maintain the pH balance of the vulva and intimate washes help with that. Normalising intimate care was still a challenge and Sanfe wasn't going to stop just there.
With its constant efforts, Sanfe kept spreading awareness about self-love and the right to decide for one’s own body. It then introduced a new range of products, Privy Matters, that catered to women who needed some extra care for their intimate areas. This range did receive a lot of backlash from the feminists on the grounds of non-compliance with the Body Positivity Moment, but Sanfe was and is still standing strong on the moral grounds of providing choice to women who want to look a certain way.
Not very long ago, Sanfe realised that not only women, but trans men and women too needed intimate care and that there was no brand catering to their needs. Sanfe then became inclusive and started spreading awareness about the normalcy of the need for intimate hygiene for all the gender spectrum.
Moving forward, Sanfe aims to be the one-stop solution for all the women-oriented problems and is going to launch various products in its underarm range, maternity range, health and wellness range, ayurveda range and sexual wellness category.
Sanfe continuously keeps a check on the problems women face and tries to come up with solutions for them. It strongly believes in customer centricity and hence, is always on the run to improve the products for a better service.

WHY SANFE EXISTS?
Sanfe envisions a better world for women. Sanfe, through its various social media channels, talks on the grounds of equality, safety and access, choice, body image and psychology.
Sanfe as a brand wants to be with women at every stage of their lives, trying to ease out the messy life moments. For teenage girls, Sanfe has its period care range. For women in their youth, Sanfe has intimate hygiene and privy matters range. For lactating mothers and mothers, Sanfe has a breast care range. Sanfe also has various solutions for the other specific intimate area problems.
Sanfe exists because it is time we normalise sexual wellness, intimate hygiene and don't frown upon women who are already seeking help in these matters. Sanfe exists because there is already a lot that women have to go through in their daily lives and it tries to take away the pain of extra efforts for their bodies. Sanfe exists because it strives to be a helping hand for women and let them win their individual battles everyday for every time a woman wins her battle, the world becomes a better place. \
CAMPAIGNS WITH PURPOSE
Sanfe has been trying to create an impact through its highly influential campaigns that can create an impact. It has a glorious streak of campaigns like Stand Up For Yourself, Red Dot, Last Pad Friend, Win The Intimacy, Bin The Binary and Choose To Challenge. Sanfe's Red Dot campaign is the most successful campaign to date. The purpose was to normalise talking about the menstrual cramps and periods. The challenge was taken up by various people showing support to this topic.
Our other influential campaigns include Bin The Binary campaign and Choose To Challenge campaign. Through Bin The Binary, Sanfe tried to become inclusive of the trans men and women. The campaign educated people about different gender roles, sexualities and identities and how intimate hygiene is necessary for all the gender roles. Through Choose To Challenge, which was the original theme for International Women's Day 2021, Sanfe tried to talk about the stereotypes and objections that women face in their lives that need to be challenged and demolished.

4 FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES OF SANFE:

1.Ownership: We at Sanfe believe that It's the responsibility of the partners in a firm to delegate ownership to their employees in a way that motivates them to embody the same vision that they hold for the practice. Leaders are owners. They think long term and don't sacrifice long-term value for short-term results. They act on behalf of the entire company, beyond just their own team. We encourage our employees to think about the impact of their decisions on other teams, sites and the customers over time.

2. Humility: For many of us, humility is one of the hardest traits to develop, because it has to start from a recognition that you are not always right, and that you do not have all the answers. We at Sanfe greatly value this trait.
It also requires an acceptance of yourself which many of us find challenging. Leaders who are humble have a better grasp on organizational needs and make better informed decisions about task performance.

3. First Principle Thinking: First principle thinking is the idea that everything you do is underpinned by a foundational belief, or first principles. Instead of blindly following directions or sticking to a process, a first principle thinker will constantly ask, What's best for the company?and, Couldn't we do it this other way instead?
This method allows you to step back and break a problem down into its core parts.

4.Customer Centricity: is a strategy and a culture of doing business that focuses on creating the best experience for the customer, and by doing so builds brand loyalty. As a customer-centric business, we ensure that the customer is at the center of our philosophy, operations, and ideas. We believe that our customers are the primary reason that WE exist, and therefore we use every means at our disposal to keep the customers satisfied.
