Our Leadership

Vishal Purohit
As Founder and CEO of Wooqer, Vishal leads the product vision and organization. VIshal is a serial entrepreneur with multiple successful exits. Vishal has held Technology, Sales, Operations, Chief Executive and Advisory roles in his journey to Wooqer. Vishal holds a BE in Comp. Sc from University of Pune

Sarika Pandey
As Co-Founder of Wooqer, Sarika anchors all customers enabling them to self create solutions for day to day needs and identify opportunities to continually derive more value. Before Wooqer, Sarika was a banker having held various roles at ANZ, SCB and Kotak. Sarika holds an MBA from FMS Delhi and is a medical science graduate from AIIMS.

Pavitra Saxena
As Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Pavitra owns the vision of the platform. Before Wooqer, he has architected complex banking applications and a couple of high scale end consumer products. He has acted as CTO of American startups and managed large high performance engineering teams in the past. He holds a bachelor's degree from IIT - Varanasi.

Kailash Iyer
As a VP – Finance, Kailash is leading the finance, legal, compliance & admin team and is striving to unlock value for all stakeholders. Kailash is a versatile professional, with an entrepreneurial mindset, with diverse experience in financial and business environments. Prior to Wooqer, Kailash led a similar role at Hashedin By Deloitte. Kailash is a Chartered Accountant and a Narsee Monjee College alumnus


Our Culture and People
The culture at Wooqer is a beautiful mix of success and happiness because we believe that making people happy is the first step towards making them successful. We want every person to be successful at their job in Wooqer and do it in a way that makes them happy. Wooqer was founded for the very same reason, where we wanted to help enterprises create a culture for their teams where work in their hands is easy and fun to complete. We built a real-time, mobile-first app and DIY platform by writing code with a focus on ease and happiness of the end user. We wrote code that married Deep-tech with Happy-tech.


To ensure that we're always building a happy and successful team, we make sure to start right by hiring right. On Monday you'll see 4 new AEs join the team. I can safely say that we interviewed over 60 people in the past 4 months before we made an offer to them. We bring in people who are passionate about their role, their career and towards Wooqer's mission. We look for a unique spark in every role we hire for. We believe that attitude precedes skill and more often we're drawn towards unconventional talent for critical roles in Wooqer (who have gone on to be the most successful). Once we bring someone onboard, we trust them completely to do their job and to act in the best interest of the company and their team. We trust so much that we don't have a leave policy. Our teams get unlimited paid-time-off without questions. We focus only on staying true to our commitments and delivering our outcomes on time, without making excuses. This is the true definition of Ownership, Wooqer's first and most important value that we live by each day.


Each one of us owns outcomes that directly impact the business. We have a flat hierarchy and delegation without execution goes against our principle of ownership. We also believe that people cannot own their outcomes at Wooqer, unless they own their careers. We want employees to take on larger roles and new responsibilities and make a case for themselves. We don't want anyone to wait for appraisal cycles or their managers to promote them or give them new responsibilities. We work from our office and do so because it enhances collaboration. We don't have unnecessary formalities and don't hold back candid spontaneous thoughts and creative ideas. This also doesn't mean that we don't respect the deep-work-time of our teammates. We avoid unnecessary meetings and only call for them with the right stakeholders, while ensuring that we go prepared ourselves.
