Cælum Capital Limited is based in London and is a specialist private equity investor focused on investing in premium beverage businesses based in North America and Europe with a focus on alcoholic beverages. Cælum was founded by Manish Rungta who is the Managing Partner of the firm. Cælum has closed its first investment in 2022 and has invested more than US$ 60 million in a premium and innovative scotch whisky business based in London called Compass Box Whisky. Cælum investment model is an independent sponsor model, where individual fund structures are raised for each new investment and Cælum is focused on majority control investments in the beverage sector with each individual investment ranging from a minimum of US$ 50 million to US$ 200 million. Cælum’s investor base mainly consists of large institutional investors from United States.
