Accounts Management: - Responsible for preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. - Manage accounting activities such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, provisions and general ledger entries. - Perform periodic reconciliations of accounts to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data. - Overview of bank reconciliations and GST/TDS fillings Audit and Compliance: - Support internal and external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules and compliance documentation. - Ensure adherence to SEBI,RBI, GST and income tax regulations and guidelines. o Responsible for implementing audit recommendations and improving internal controls. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): - Do budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Prepare financial reports, including monthly management reports and ad-hoc analysis. - Analyse financial data to identify trends and insights that support strategic decision-making. Management Information Systems (MIS): - Develop and maintain MIS reports for management review. - Ensure accuracy and timeliness of MIS reporting to facilitate informed decision-making. SEBI and RBI Compliance: - Stay updated with SEBI and RBI regulations and guidelines relevant to the organization. - Ensure timely compliance with regulatory filings and reporting requirements. - Responsible for responding to queries and requests from regulatory authorities. Stakeholder Coordination: - Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to gather financial data and ensure alignment with organizational goals. - Coordinate with external stakeholders such as auditors, regulators, and banks to facilitate smooth operations and compliance. Process improvements and automation of existing process - Need to focus continuously on identifying the gaps in existing process and work on automating the process.

About: - Review of AMC financial statements with detailed variance analysis & ratios, revenue/ expense trends. Build strong understanding on each aspect of financials, check proper account mappings classification & disclosures. - Assess TER impact analysis on management fees with splitting TER components for funds with significant AUM. Perform yield analysis to check on product yield at each MF, PMS, AIF fund category level - Identify areas of automation in Accounts vertical and ensure there is efficiency in operations, identify process gaps in operations and automate or improve processes whereby manual intervention is reduced and efficiency can be improved upon with accuracy. Update Risk control matrix of key activities and ensure testing is performed periodically - Operations end-to end process with accounting, understanding gaps and fix by implementing better controls for data accuracy & postings. Sign off various SLA with them and accordingly monitor their data - Monthly reading SEBI and other regulatory guidelines and to discuss with management for change if any impacting business, revenue ,accounting and compliance o Review key expenses, track movement of funds, investments etc. and ensure there are no idle funds. Review debtors ageing analysis and ensure appropriate ECL provisions are considered as per defined policy - Monitor tax compliances and ensure Income tax, GST and TDS is complete for all AMC group companies in T-2 days on monthly basis and returns are filed prior to due date. - Co-ordinate with Statutory and internal auditors and resolution of audit queries and ensure no major observations which impact financial statements. - Optimize costs by reviewing vendor expenses analyzing trends, extract negotiated rates with key vendors
