Decision Analytics Manager (Customer Centric Marketing)

We are looking for a leader for our India Customer Centric Marketing (CCM) team to lead Patient CCM work. This leader will collaborate with our India and global leadership to define the vision and build the team to work on this heavily growing area in ZS

Job Description

- The Manager position is the precursor to the Associate Principal and Principal positions, and therefore part of the ZS leadership ladder. Every Manager leads one or more - Spaces-, i.e. business units focused either on a specific client, or a specific expertise area.

- Therefore, ZS Managers are responsible for innovation, thought leadership, relationship management, people growth and defining-running-refining their space operating model, guided closely by Principals. Managers leverage their experience to take responsibility for projects and lead client and ZS-leader relationships immediately. Managers enter ZS either as generalists across practice areas or industries, or as specialists within one area.


- Partner with our leaders to drive business development and client relationships;

- Consistently lead teams to deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget;

- Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge while staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business

- Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes;

- Play a key role in development of consulting capabilities and offerings

- Direct multiple projects simultaneously, honing analytic and project management skills

- Demonstrate deep pharmaceutical industry sector knowledge and functional expertise in marketing strategy;

- Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business;

- Play an active role in counseling and mentoring junior team members within ZS;

- Motivate, coach and serve as a role model for project team members;


- 10-14 years of work experience through consulting work or within as an industry leader (a combination of experience is preferred)

- Approximately 4-6 years of prior management consulting experience, preferably in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry;

- Post-graduation from a top university strongly preferred, with a record of strong academic performance

- Knowledge of Patient (identified and unidentified) domain in the Pharma domain

- Focus on driving better Patient engagement and health outcomes working with Pharma companies through Patient/Consumer marketing and Patient services

- Knowledge of related data (Patient level data), systems and platforms (e.g. Data Management platform) and advanced analytics (including AI/ML techniques) using patient data

- Demonstrated experience driving revenue within existing clients;

- Characteristics of a forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge;

- Ability to lead a virtual team of consulting professionals across multiple projects;

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form;

- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to influence others;

- Analytic problem-solving skills, with an ability both to see the big picture and delve into details;

- Excellent organization & planning skills and willingness to travel to meet client needs. Forward thinker and self-starter who thrives on new challenges, imagines solutions, and adapts quickly

- Ability to collaborate with virtual teams across multiple projects

- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) including experience and comfort presenting concepts to executives
