Role - Project manager / Assistant project manager (based on the relevant experience)
Scope - Managing delivery of retail software to clients located across the globe
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of projects
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Proven working experience in project management
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of project management tools
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in software technology or equivalent work experience is a plus
- MBA is a plus
- Relevant work experience of 3 years or more
- Travel to customer locations within and outside India will be needed. The travel location will be to major cities.
