Total Exp : 8 - 10 Years 

Key Responsibilities :

- Plans, organizes, directs and controls the activities of Accounting Function

- Standardize and implement policies, procedures and formats for general accounting

- Ensure adherence to policies and formats by Completing monthly closing of accounts and generating MIS reports

- Preparing and updating the bank reconciliation statement and other BS & P/L schedules

- Clearing suspense accounts in time

- Financial MIS - weekly and monthly (post month-end closure) and preparation of Management Deck

- Fleet Accounting and controls including daily reconciliations

- Managing Accounts payable include ensuring timely payments of various stakeholders including statutory dues

- Ensure timely completion of Statutory and tax audits and various tax returns

- Handling all GST, TDS and other statutory returns and all litigation related to taxation.

- Actions on issues raised in audits

- ROC submissions and data requirements

- Leads, mentors and coaches team members, resolving all team member issues on SAP.

Desired qualifications and experience :

- Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 4+ years post qualification experience

- Good Knowledge of Tax laws and companies Act

- Experience in accounting function in fleet management / taxi operating or leasing company, eCommerce, logistics background will be plus

- Strong computer systems experience; strong Excel and Word and PowerPoint skills.

- SAP experience a mandatory

- Implemented technology related Project as a functional owner

- Preferably should have been part of a financial process control team
