Zoomcar.com - Head/Director/Senior Director - P&L - Business Finance Function - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

About the role :

Looking for a strong P&L leader to join Zoomcar to head the business finance function. Candidate is expected to completely own, develop and lead the end to end execution of Zoomcar's P&L strategy. Candidate will be responsible for key P&L management projects and will oversee and influence the cross-functional P&L decision-making process.

Job Description :

- Lead key company-wide initiatives to drive P&L efficiency and improve ROI of critical investments

- Own the complete P&L outcome by conducting thorough fact-finding, perform in depth analysis of root causes, prepare recommendations / solution playbook and bring consensus amongst all key stakeholders

- Drive implementation of recommendations to ensure actual results on the ground, track and manage P&L impact

- Set-up and lead critical processes across the company including weekly and monthly operating reviews with leadership team to measure ROI and P&L impacts

- Influence key P&L improvement projects across functions by working with functional heads (typically CXOs) and become their trusted ally for organization wide implementation

- Develop a data driven decision framework to execute key business strategy decisions and develop a metric driven performance management system across the company

- Build, mentor and manage a diverse, cross-functional team of key business finance managers and business analysts

Requirements :

- Prefer candidates with experience from a top tier management consulting firm, other start-up P&L management roles or P&L management roles in large corporates

- MBA or Masters from a top tier in India or abroad

- Top notch written, spoken and presentation skills

- Understanding of P&L management
