About ZMS:

Zoomcar Mobility Services (ZMS) is a new business unit within Zoomcar which provides vehicle connectivity (IoT) and demand generation (subscription + rental) technology services to OEMS, mobility operators, companies fleet owners, and dealer/distributors across the world. ZMS products already power Zoomcar- India's largest personal mobility brand with a focus on self drive car rental and subscription. This enterprise SaaS offering also has prominent names from the industry including global car manufacturers, car-leasing companies and mobility operators across the world as customers. ZMS is heavily software focused with a strong bend toward product, technology, and data science. The function operates like a startup within the company with dedicated resources, very aggressive timelines, and ambitious growth targets.

About the Role:

Zoomcar is looking to hire a senior executive to lead the ZMS business globally. The incumbent will be responsible for making ZMS the next engine of profitable growth for Zoomcar through the monetization of the Company's existing technology platform. Zoomcar expects ZMS to contribute 50% of the overall Company revenue by the end of 2021. The role is a senior leadership position in the company reporting into the CEO/Co Founder of the Company with independent responsibility for P&L product development, and future business strategy.

Job Description:

- Setup and lead the different functions in the business including Sales/Account Management, Marketing, Client Servicing, Operations, and Customer Support

- Product/Technology/Data Science Direction: Guide the creation and updation of the product and technology roadmaps to keep innovating and deliver new products in the market

- Create business and operating plans for the different business lines of the BU

- Deliver top line and bottom-line numbers for the business according to the business plan

- Work cross-functionally and manage complex internal stakeholder relationships

- Represent the company at events and in media

- Manage key CXO level contacts at customer organisations

- Recruit, mentor and retain talent within the BU to deliver high levels of performance

Requirements:

- P/L ownership experience is critical

- Experienced people leader from a technology start up - ideally with B2B as well as B2C experience with a baseline understanding of ground operations

- Prefer candidates with experience in product driven SaaS businesses selling to enterprises with longer sales cycles

- Strong experimentation mindset with proven track record for cross-functional success

- Clear demonstrations of empathy in past roles w/ strong abilities to give and receive feedback

- 10-13 years work experience

- BTech/MBA - IITs/ISB/IIM and top tier 1 colleges preferred with mix of technical + business background ideal.
