Zonal Sales Manager - PVC Pipe & Fitting (10-20 yrs)

We are looking for people from PVC- pipe and fittings industry

Objective:

- Responsible for planning, development and implementation of the Organization's marketing strategies, marketing communications.

- Increase the market share through the design and implementation of an aggressive marketing plan based on thorough analysis and evaluation of the market.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to :

- Assess market demand and prepare annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets for the Region. Provide inputs to Marketing Head for annual product portfolio review & long term strategic planning.

- Develop the annual sales plan and a marketing strategy with inputs and approval. To outline sales targets, pricing strategy, product mix, geographical mix, seasonal mix to increase market share.

- Growth in sales from existing customers/markets & opening up of new customers/markets. Monitor timely delivery to the customer.

- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service. Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts. Direct and co-ordinate activities involving sales of manufactured and traded products.

- Collect sales/market data on a regular basis. Forecast sales and determine profitability through review of operational records and reports. Ensure recovery of outstanding dues from customers.

- Obtain feedback on promotional & quality of products and service and convey the same internally. Visit dealers to stimulate interest in establishment or expansion of leasing programs.

- Disseminate the price schedules and discount rates. Monitor customer attrition and plan customer retention strategies. Relationship building with key customer accounts.

- Aggregate market intelligence for existing product range (product wise). Give recommendations to Marketing Head for product wise pricing. Interact regularly with potential and existing customers to apprise them on new product offerings/developments.

- Oversee promotional activities like exhibitions, display outlets, etc. Price negotiation within price parameters given. Credit facilities, discounts in consultation with Marketing Head or as per policy.

- Develop annual sales plan and a marketing strategy with inputs for the Region. Calculate Sales growth from existing customers/markets & opening up of new customers/markets.

- Direct and co-ordinate activities involving sales of manufactured and traded products. Forecast sales and determine profitability through review of operational records and reports.

- Advise & educate dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business. Identify relevant pricing trends in the market and of key competitors.

- Identify customer needs and ideas for product development.

Desired Profile :

Qualification :

- B.Com with additional 2 years full time Management Graduate/PGDM in Marketing from a reputed & recognized university/Institute.

Preferred Experience :

- 12-15 Years of experience in the field of Market intelligence & Product Pricing etc.

Age Preferences : 35-40 Years

- Technical Knowledge Development and maintenance of network.

- Liaison with end users. Framing of marketing plan.

- Responsible for increasing market share of the product basket.

- Responsible for increasing profit by framing judicious production, pricing and sales policies to cater to newer markets and to existing markets.

Behavioral Skills :

- Good communication, man management and team-building skills and Result oriented.

- Should have excellent leadership skills.

- Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills, employee champion, ability to influence, Organizing skills, Zeal for continuous improvement and excellence are some of the mandatory traits.

- Should be creative, lateral and innovative thinker, willing to explore ideas. Seasoned in team management and effective communication skills to create cohesive relations amongst inter & intra departmental team members and external customers.
