Zonal Sales Manager - FMCG (7-15 yrs)
Zonal sales manager - UP Market
- Reports to Business Head
- Supervising ASMs and RSMs
Responsibility Area Functions:
- Sales target achievement - Ensures achievement of primary and secondary targets for the designated zone.
- Sales Planning &Analysis - Forecasts and plans sales. Manages inventory levels at CFA etc .
- Channel Management - Defines the distribution structure and ensures distribution effectiveness.
- Commercial control and market hygiene Controls credit and ensures adherence to financial disciplines and controls. Creates and maintains market hygiene in territory.
- People Management - Ensures sales force effectiveness by managing, motivating and developing personnel. Ensures adherence to norms and discipline in the zone.
- Miscellaneous - Collects & collates market data and provides feedback to the division.- Coordinates with other departments
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Results-oriented with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and driving sales performance.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using MS Office Suite and sales management software
