Zonal Sales Head/Manager - FMCG (10-20 yrs)
Job Responsibilities:-
- Build and maintain long term relationships with distributors,retailers and customers
- Negotiating with suppliers / distributors
- Ensuring new business development with potential clients ( including private labels )
- Ensuring annuity business with existing clients
- Building and motivating a high performance team
- Driving target orientation in the team
- Ensuring sales targets are met bypromotors / sales managers Across geographies/ retail locations
- Creating and executing marketing and sales strategies for different product categories
- Reporting the monthly mis to the directors
- Ensuring profitable sales across channels and product categories
- Building the e commerce platform as a strong channel
- Keeping a pulse on competition and sound market intelligence
- Doing regular field visits to ensure product sales and take course correction accordingly
- Good relationship management across the board
- People management- driving performance focus and subordinate development
- High customer orientation
- Good negotiation skills
- Networking skills
- Financial acumen
- Good execution ability
- Strategic thinking / out of the box thinking
- Sound sales and marketing knowledge
