About Our Client :

Our client is one of the well-established NBFCs backed by a reputed conglomerate. The NBFC has mortgage product offerings across loans, Mortgages, Loans Against Property, Loans Against Shares, Micro-finance and Agri-loans. They are looking for a Regional Credit Manager with strong team handling experience.

Job Description :

- The candidate has to be CA/MBA with 9+ years work experience with the following skill sets

- Support and co-partner with business teams to achieve Business targets.

- Underwriting of SENP files and preparation of credit proposal notes for loan amounts higher than INR 2 Cr., their presentation to ZCM & National Head - Credit & sign-offs on the same.

- Authorization of deviations raised and documented by underwriters in compliance with credit policy.

- Final review of credit memos, prepared by underwriters, and approval/ decline sign-offs on every file after checking for documentation -

requests, FOIR, INSR data, applicable interest rate and loan tenure.

- Approval of all disbursement requests on the basis of achieved adherence to requirements on LTV, agreement value, full documentation attainment at the branch level.

- Ensure timely completion of personal discussion documents through customer visits in high value cases.

- Overseeing and initiating follow-ups with external vendors (FI, Legal & Technical valuations) to ensure timely query resolution/ report submission and eliminate any undue/ non-process related delays.

- Co-ordinate with the recoveries team and generate business insights.

- Manage end to end credit approval for the designated region.

- Lead a team of credit approvers & SMEs to ensure portfolio quality and delinquencies.

- Engage in development, implementation, review and monitoring of various credit programs and providing training and coaching to continuously upgrade the competency of the team and improving upon processing efficiency of the HUB.

The Successful Applicant :

Looking for a strong, qualified CA with 8 plus years work experience in the mortgage industry/ NBFC/ MFI/Indian bank on the lending side of business. The candidate needs to have strong underwriting experience in the said industries and has bene handling team for past 4 plus years.
