We have an urgent opening for Zonal Quality Engineer role in one of the leading Telecom Infra Company in Mumbai.

Job Purpose : 

To coordinate and lead Quality Control, Quality Assurance & HSE compliance and awareness activities at Zonal Level for Site Infrastructure - Active/Passive ( Data Center Physical Infrastructure, Electrical, Mechanical ) and IT Infrastructure ( Data Center, Storage, Servers, Security & Applications)

Responsibilities

1. Implement QC, QA, HSE plans at Zonal level, contribution to keep these plans updated and time -tested and QC & QA test procedures Network Infrastructure

2. Quality aspects of IP - MPLS network, experience in O&M

3. Understand customer requirements and translate to processes and procedures

Ability to test scenarios that address areas such as routing, switching, MPLS & Access networks, and security, VA-PT and Data-Center Infrastructure .

4. Plan and Schedule inspection and carry out routine quality checks.

5. Identify, analyse, and document problems and Non-Conformities observed during implementation and devise necessary preventive & corrective actions.

What we required:

1. Engineering design knowledge of Networking, Data Center Infrastructure and Installation and commissioning of Data Center Physical & IT Infrastructure (Storage/Servers/Firewall/IPS/APT). Quality Test Role in minimum two areas.

2. Good understanding of SLA and Quality Metrics- network availability, resiliency, and scalability.

3. Understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, 27001 Standards and EIA/TIA standards of Networking and Structured Cabling

4. Understanding of field installation and operation methodology and their impacts on the network

5. Good Analytical, communication and listening skills.
