Zonal Manager - West India - EdTech Company - Mumbai
Role :
- Responsible for driving sales, strategic account management by owning to the Zone/region responsibility, planning and executing the business objectives and driving the regional team to attain objectives.
- The role also involves providing strategic inputs at all levels of Institution/client intervention and team to hunt, farming key accounts, supporting closure meetings, Onboarding partners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Is responsible to align objectives set by senior leadership; the company strategy and the annual business plan
- Effectively lead sales team through goal setting, plan develop, coach and support to meet & exceed sales targets and revenue targets
- Have comprehensive and up to date knowledge of Educational Institute like School, Coaching, Tuition etc.
- Travel with sales team to assist in closing key accounts
- Oversee the hiring, development and mentoring of sales staff
- Develop and implement a comprehensive on-boarding and ongoing sales training for the team
- Actively manage the sales pipeline and coach team on how to shorten the sales cycle
- Collaborate with the Implementation teams to deliver successful client engagements
- Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and detailed pipeline reports to Sales Head
- Gather Institute/client feedback on current & prospective needs to collaborate with the Academic/Content & development team
- Actively participate and represent the organization in Leadership Meets & Seminars in building organization brand in the Region
- Develop and execute marketing plan to drive growth for the North Region
- Form strategic relationships with clients, demonstrating influence to ensure first class relationships are established to maximize business opportunities
- Ensures the company's sales processes are clearly understood and followed to ensure success
- Must motivate your team to consistently meet or exceed given sales quota, as well as aid in the negotiation and close of sales deals
- Participate actively in sales calls and product/solutions demonstrations as appropriate and contribute to the rapid growth of sales, demonstrating outstanding sales management and closing skills to the team
- Provide weekly sales forecasts to sales leadership in an agreed format, providing detailed insight into the sales function using agreed tools
- Harness relationships for strategic partnerships for revenue generation opportunities particularly in the B2B and the B2B2C models
