An important techno-commercial role for driving Cotton & Field Crop seed business in Central & West India. (Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat) as focused states, based on experience, we may review to give responsibility for additional states in the above Zone

Requirements: -

Academic: MBA (Agri.)/MSc (Agri.)/BSc (Agri.)  

Experience: 15+ yrs progressive role in S&M of FC & CT seeds at RM/ZM level in MNC/large Indian company for similar products is desirable - Commercial: Responsible to perform around 300350 Cr business with channel /trade

Responsibilities: 

1. Marketing: 

a. Market analysis, competitor monitoring/analysis and regular opportunity assessment 

b.  Product portfolio management/Targeting and positioning  products after ascertaining product fitment/suitability in coordination with PD teams. 

c. Continuous farmer engagement and development of farmer networks/implementation of product development demos 

d. Planning and implementation of marketing and promotion activities for the zone 

e. Responsible for Demand forecasting of  products portfolio

2. Sales channel management 

a. Conduct  business activities including supplies, sales and all channel operations as per  policies and SOPs within the compliance limits (Returns, Payments, etc.,) 

b. Managing  channel on a sustainable basis and ensure maximum market coverage 

c. Sustain and grow market share through effective channel management. 

d. Preparation and execution of business schemes in consultation with RMs and COO 

e. Ensure excellent relationships with channel through regular services/visits, monitoring and follow-ups. 

f. Distribution and Inventory management from supply chain to depots. 

g. Control through POG reports & depot inventory on regular basis to ensure liquidation 

h. Regular monitoring of stocks at all points in channel and ensure business goals. 

i. Timely resolution of all complaints and issues/mitigate & manage risks 

3. Strategic 

a. Be the face of  business in the zone and act as brand custodian as per policies 

b. Preparation of Annual budget for sales /ASP for the zone in consultation with COO. 

c. Review and monitoring business to deliver results and growth 

d. Directly responsible to deliver sales growth as per the organizations objectives 

e. Providing critical feedback to the COO and senior management 

f. Increase profitability by increasing market share with better realization 

g. Prepare business cases for new market & segment opportunity 

h. Effectively manage the marketing budget and formulation of marketing campaign as per field requirement 

4. Administrative& Mentorship 

a. Responsible all administrative activities in the zone under guidance of COO 

b. Allocation of resources / Schedule management of team 

c. Control & motivate team regularly for getting job done 

d. Mentor the team for skill enhancement and innovativeness and enable regular learning/training to improve services and brand equity. 

5. Leadership skills 

a. Strategic capability

d. Perseverance and achievement drive
