One of the leading company is looking out for Zonal Head (Logistics) Job Description -&nbsp; - The candidate would be involved in managing end to end responsibility of operations for all the Pit stops (changeover stations) in his/her region - The candidate would be required to work closely with all the other functions and the leadership team to ensure complete ownership in managing the operations on the ground. He/she would be responsible for the managing a large team and ensuring that they are motivated while disseminating their responsibilities. Few examples of the work streams are -&nbsp; - Deploying technology to revolutionize the way relay trucking works in the network. - Develop new processes and provide inputs to the tech team so that the inefficiencies in the system are removed by technology. - Come up with initiatives to optimize cost and efficiencies in the relay network - Ensuring that the wait time for trucks is within the specified limits. - Ensuring that all vehicles follow the standard SOP while on the routes and required documents are fully adhered to - Optimum cost utilization for vehicles on the route. - Help develop new clients by providing support to the sales team. - Ensure that the lifestyle of truck drivers(pilots) are fully monitored off and are in line with the overall mission of Company - Pilot First. Take innovative steps to improve on the same. - Adoption of technology with the ground team - Deploying the right number of pilots at all pitstops. Ensuring that the hiring is done in a proper manner. - Build the right culture of company way of working with the wider team. - Analyse data closely to understand trends and opportunities to drive best asset utilization and better industry standards. - Establish SOPs to ensure that standardized processes are created and implemented across the organization. Professional attributes: - Hands on experience in implementing systems and processes. - Experience in improving operational KPIs. - Experience in working closely with C-level executives. - Strong communicator with experience in facilitation across all levels; skilled at addressing both large and small audiences across multiple leadership levels and functions. - Advanced use of all Microsoft Office applications.
