- Develop and manage the educations Loans portfolio for the South Zone through a team of RCM/ACMs heading various states. This includes onboarding, monitoring, management, and recovery loans in the zone. - Develop and implement appropriate due diligence processes to ensure that the policy parameters are adhered to by the zonal credit team while onboarding new clients. - To understand and evaluate the local best practices in underwriting and monitor and tailor-make processes when necessary. - Monitoring legal/technical vendors for the quality of work, turnaround time, etc, and ensure that the organization gets the best out of them. - Ensure that the portfolio losses are within the portfolio threshold through following appropriate early warning practices by the team and taking appropriate account-level action when necessary. - Hiring, training, and developing a credit team on all parameters of credit analysis, monitoring, account action. - Ensure the team and the portfolio is audit compliant and ready at all times. Preferred Profile : - PGDM/MBA/CA graduate with Min 10-12 years of experience in credit underwriting for secured lending. - Team handling experience of minimum 5 yrs. - Experience in handling south markets preferred. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Exceptional analytical skills, a good understanding of excel and other data analysis tools. - Highly professional in working with team members and other stakeholders - Self-motivated, passionate, learning new things, taking initiatives and challenges
