Zomato - Area Lead - Operations

We are looking for a smart, enterprising professional to join us as an Area Lead in Bangalore. In this role, you will be working with the city operations head of Bangalore and driving strategic and operational initiatives to manage the delivery partner fleet of Zomato in Bangalore.

In this role, you will:

- Design, implement and improvise process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.

- Analyze diverse data around delivery partner behavior and plan process and system improvement initiatives.

An ideal candidate would have:

- B.Tech / B.E degree from a reputed institution.

- 2+ years of experience in Operations Management (or) Consulting.

- Penchant for problem solving and a track record of having put processes in place to sustainably solve problems.

- Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence senior management.

Following are some Good-to-Have skills:

- Relevant work experience in the past (ride-sharing, hyper-local deliveries).

- Strong SQL and analytical skills.

- Knowledge of local language (Kannada).
