Role Overview:

We, at Zolo (www.zolostays.com), are looking for a Senior Program Manager (Operations) to help drive insights from business data and metrics, define initiatives for continuous improvement of metrics, and program manages the execution of those initiatives. Our ideal candidate comes with 4-6 years of diverse experience in business consulting, program management and analytics, preferably in the B2C space. He/She is expected to understand business in entirety and align business operations with data insights. He/She would work very closely with the COO at Zolo to accelerate regular as well as transformational initiatives for Zolo's operations across cities.

- Zolo is a Nexus funded, series B company which provides fully managed co-living spaces which are fun, flexible and functional. We are currently present in Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, NCR, Kota and Hyderabad, and fast expanding to other geographies. Founded by alumni of IIMs, IITs, AIIMS, ISB, team size of 500+.

- Our managed co-living solutions are looking to elevate the traditional paying guest accommodations/hostels, and offer all kinds of basic and luxury living amenities with a promise of high quality. Some of the prominent features include fully furnished rooms, hygienic and healthy food, daily housekeeping, internet facilities, security and a vibrant community. We are now looking to aggressively expand our operations in existing as well as new markets.

About the Role / Responsibilities:

The role of the Senior Program Manager would encompass the following:

- Work closely with the COO on continuous improvement of business metrics

- Identify the data collection needs to evaluate and analyze appropriate operations metrics

- Set up the right data collection processes by defining the right systems/tools

- Analyze the collected data through various analytical tools

- Synthesize analysis findings to drive insights for appropriate business actions

- Make recommendations for business change to move the metrics in the right direction and support strategic decision making

- Define the relevant business processes/initiatives to bring about the change

- Drive execution of initiatives / new business processes through program management with the functional/locational teams

- Facilitate problem-solving sessions with teams across the organization with data and insights

KPIs for the role would be the following:

- Availability of business metrics in dynamic form for business assessment

- Availability of right data across operations teams in the organization for analysis and action

- Level of insights driven from the analytics/data support

- Effectiveness in defining the right initiatives and new business processes

- Effective program management of operational improvement programs with business teams

- Level of change management instituted in the organization through data insights and execution

Desired Experience / Background:

Key Skill Sets:

- Asking the right questions, gather right data and do the right analysis

- Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis

- Generating insights from data analysis

- Defining components of large multi-functional projects, structuring initiatives

- Ability to work with teams, drive projects with diverse functional teams

- Good presentation and communication skills

- Self-starter, strong initiative & leadership

- Expertise with analytical/statistical tools like advanced command over MS-excel, Google forms, other analytics / PM tools like MS-projects, Tableau, etc

Prior Experience:

- Candidates with 4-6 years of experience in consulting, program management and business analytics preferred.

Educational Background:

- MBA from a Tier-I institute, Graduate from a reputed institute

Languages:

- English is mandatory and fluency in Hindi is a plus.
