Role Overview: We, at Zolo, are looking for Community Relations Managers in Chennai who would be responsible for engaging our large pool of existing and prospective Zolo residents in the city and provide a great community living experience to them. We- re looking for entrepreneurial candidates who have proven execution and social skills. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in events management and / or marketing communication, with good social skills and a knack for on-ground execution. About ZoloStays: Zolo is a Nexus funded, pre-series B company which provides fully managed co-living spaces which are fun, flexible and functional. We are currently present in Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Delhi and Kota, and fast expanding to other geographies. Founded by alumni of IIMs, IITs, AIIMS, ISB, we are at a team size of 500+. Our managed co-living solutions are looking to elevate the traditional paying guest accommodations/hostels, and offer all kinds of basic and luxury living amenities with a promise of high quality. Some of the prominent features include fully furnished rooms, hygienic and healthy food, daily housekeeping, internet facilities, security and a vibrant community. We are now looking to aggressively expand our operations in existing as well as new markets. About the Role / Responsibilities: The role of the Community Relations Manager would encompass the following: - Planning and managing the events calendar for the city across properties within specified budgets; activities would include indoor and outdoor sports and games, art and culture related activities, festival celebrations, experience related events and other activities related to entertainment &amp; leisure - Executing all the identified activities online/ at the properties on a regular basis by working closely with internal and external stakeholders as well as vendors - Working closely with marketing and branding team to develop appropriate communication around activities and engagements happening at the property, managing outreach channels (social media, mailing list, etc.) to spread the word about all the Zolo initiatives especially events - Ensuring that property branding is updated in sync with the customer experience and Zolo value proposition - Tracking and monitoring participation, resident feedback, cost and effectiveness for each activity KPIs for the role would be the following: - Maintaining high customer satisfaction scores across properties - Number and scale of activities conducted every month across properties - Feedback scores from the events - relevance, engagement, satisfaction - Active communication and marketing of the events and the property (before and after events) - Cost management and control - Process adherence and timely reporting Desired Experience / Background and Location: - Prior Event Management Experience - We are looking for young, energetic and social individuals preferably with some prior event management experience - having executed marketing activities/events on the ground; smart and enthusiastic fresher's can apply as well - People Management Experience: The ideal candidate should have prior experience in dealing with people (customers, vendor partners, internal stakeholders) and managing outcomes under all circumstances. Educational Background:&nbsp; Graduate/Postgraduate MBA/Hospitality - Location: Chennai Desired competencies: - Strong people management skills - Good Communication Skills - Knowledge of local language is a must, good English proficiency is a plus - Good content design orientation for effective branding communication - Good MS Office skills to generate analyses and reports comfortably - Should own and ride a two-wheeler/four-wheeler - Should exhibit high degree of initiative and on-the-ground execution focus
