Role Overview: We, at Zolo, are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who can who can spearhead our Sales and Marketing in Pune. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 - years of experience in field sales and marketing in the context of retail, real estate, hotels or hospitality industries. He/She is expected to play an end to end role in managing demand for all properties of the city and maintaining high occupancies in those properties. He/She would work closely with the City head of Pune and the top management at Zolo (National Head of Demand) in driving all the Sales &amp; Marketing activities for Pune. He/she should have good problem solving and analytical abilities and come from a top tier college with excellent academic scores. About ZoloStays: Zolo is a Nexus funded, pre-series B company which provides fully managed co-living spaces which are fun, flexible and functional. We are currently present in Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Delhi and Kota, and fast expanding to other geographies. Founded by alumni of IIMs, IITs, AIIMS, ISB, we are at a team size of 500+. Our managed co-living solutions are looking to elevate the traditional paying guest accommodations / hostels, and offer all kinds of basic and luxury living amenities with a promise of high quality. Some of the prominent features include fully furnished rooms, hygienic and healthy food, daily housekeeping, internet facilities, security and a vibrant community. We are now looking to aggressively expand our operations in existing as well as new markets. About the Role / Responsibilities : The role of the Head of Sales &amp; Marketing would encompass the following: - Designing and Implementing offline marketing campaigns:- Evaluate needs, define and implement key brand promotional projects (e.g. brand building programs for Zolo properties, mailing drives, Corporate sales, advertising/promotional campaigns, offline events / kiosks, briefing documents for sales etc.) - Aligning and coordinating with central online marketing team:- Define marketing and promotion needs of the city for digital marketing activities, to be run centrally by digital marketing team. - Lead generation &amp; sales conversion:- Identify the right channels and source various sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls and emails - Sales training and monitoring:- Make sure that the property as well as office-based teams are thoroughly trained for customer centricity and sales conversion; monitoring and driving their performance. - Data analysis and insights:- Measuring key metrics and insights to drive improvements, efficacy of campaigns vs targets achieved. Every initiative should have a forecasting of the customers targeted and a detailed analysis of the actual customers converted. - Team managing and reporting:- Building the right team and managing them to ensure that the monthly, quarterly and annual targets for the city are achieved KPIs for the role would be the following : - Meeting occupancy targets for all properties in the city - Efficiency of lead generation through offline and online marketing - Efficiency of lead conversion through on-site effectiveness - Pricing management for all properties - Process adherence and timely reporting Desired Experience / Background : Prior Experience : We are looking for young and energetic team players with 5-7 years of experience in Sales or Marketing roles; any experience with startups, retail players, real estate developers, hotels or hospitality industries would be preferred. Key Skill Sets : Strong skills required in field sales and marketing toolkit, analytical problem solving, customer centricity, ability to represent Zolo brand to customers, team management Educational Background : Top tier MBA institutes would be given strong preference Desired competencies : - Strong problem solving and analytical skills, ability to work with spreadsheets - High degree of initiative and on-the-ground execution focus - Strong people management skills - Good program management skills - Languages: Complete command over English is a must and fluency in Marathi would be preferred Location : Pune
