The Role This is an individual contributor role, reporting into the Head - Brand Solutions. Accordingly, the purpose and key expectations would be as follows: Purpose: Digital Media planning and buying for clients on various digital platforms i.e. Display, Search, Mobile &amp; Social Media. The key expectations of the role: - Formulate strategy as per the client's objective to meet digital media goals - Negotiate, purchase and maintain online media for various accounts, securing competitive rates and appropriate added value - Ideating on the Social media strategy for the current clients and for new client proposals - Share articles/contribute to PR with respect to Media and our thoughts and inputs on digital media - Track media expenditures to ensure agency and client budget compliance - Build thought leadership in the industry and within the team by sharing media decks and various approaches that digital can shape a brand s presence - Identify opportunities of additional business from new and existing clients - Manage projects, where you shall be leading the project, client servicing and close the project, per the requirements. Competencies required: Knowledge, skills, attitude: Knowledge Essential - Understanding of Digital advertising and specifically, Performance based Advertising. Desirable - Understanding of Search, Social, Programmatic and Native advertising. Skills - Excellent organisational skills and extremely detail-oriented; must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Create media proposals, online media plans, maintain relations, Identify areas of new business, client budget compliance - Social media strategy, client servicing, Digital Media planning, digital media goals, set targets and drive, brands presence - Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box Attitude - Results driven and having a strong bias for action. - Resilient and able to deal with pressure. - Should demonstrate interpersonal skills when dealing with superiors, peers and clients. - An extrovert with relationship management and networking ability. The Individual: (education and experience) Essential - A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. - 2+ years of experience with creating media proposals for digital, social, search engine campaigns. Desirable - A Post graduate degree or diploma in management. - Experience in selling digital media solutions.
