Job Description

The Head of Sales will be responsible to build and grow retail loan business at ZipLoan. Responsible for acquisition and achieving numbers along with portfolio quality. Target segment is Business Loans for Self employed- upto INR 5 Lac.

2) Improving efficiency- Retail lending is largely a business of getting the processes right. Thus, the VP-Sales should aim at improving processes and systems such that we are able to scale the business in an efficient manner.

3) Appetite to take calculated risks- at ZipLoan, we are aiming to address a segment that Financial Institutions have historically shied away from. Thus, the person should be willing to identify opportunities and assess the risk before attempting such a segment.

Responsibilities

- Enable high quality growth for the retail loan business to meet our strategic objective of AUM in the next 3 - 4 years.

- Deliver a profitable Small Business Loan book with immaculate portfolio quality by growing all the revenue pools and business segments

- The role of the Head of Sales requires a deep understanding and hands on experience of unsecured business loans to businesses & Self-Employed professionals as well as industry knowledge & market intelligence.

- Most critical is to have an in-depth understanding of customer needs and design products, processes which deliver differentiated service level.

- This is an individual as well as team contributor role and the candidate must have the ability to work and lead a set of shared resources to deliver and drive exceptional results.

- Executing the defined business strategy to achieve the defined sales and collection targets and exceed the set targets. Creating a demand funnel and alternate channels for lead generation.

- Responsible for managing growth and profitability of the channel.

- Manage to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.

- Establish effective relationships and collaborations with clients.

- Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies.

- Ensures the customer is serviced well and no complaint arises.

- Maintains & Improves turnaround and conversions.
