About Zipgo ZipGo is an on demand AC bus service platform on a mission to turn daily commute into a hassle free & experience. Being a smart solution for a smart traveler, ZipGo operates its daily commute services through the App (Compatible for Android & iOS only). Expanding its service offering ZipGo extended their services to leisure travel and are present on other travel aggregators, work through a network of travel agents to facilitate single seat to complete bus hire on intercity routes. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to serve as a key member of Zipgo's Finance team. This position will be responsible for financial planning, analysis of strategic initiatives, managerial reporting, budget management, and oversight of accounting and financial operations. Roles & Responsibilities - Handle day today finance operations, including booking keeping and accounting - Oversee annual /periodic internal audit, statutory and tax audit by auditors. And ensuring compliance of statutory returns /payment within due date as per Income Tax Act, Central Excise and Sales Tax Authorities - Develop scenario plans and ROI analyses to support strategic initiatives and key managerial decisions - Lead projects to address opportunities for revenue & cost optimization - Analyze department-level finances and develop budgets to control costs - Manage the month-end close process working closely with our outsourced controller - Oversee financial operations (billing, financial documentation, expense management), execute on key financial operations projects, and establish and maintain strong business controls - Identify and manage strategic accounting initiatives, and oversee the company's first audit - Fully own financial documentation and reporting Education, Certification, and Relevant Experience - Should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 3 to 4 years of exp (with 1-2 years of experience in managing accounting team of 3-5 members) - Should have hands on experience in MS Excel and MS word. - Should have experience in book closure and audit as per Indian GAAP - Preferred experience in transportation industry
