Chief of Staff / Manager Job Description: Role : Chief of Staff Designation would be Engagement Manager About Zinnov : Overview : - The vision of the Globalization Excellence (GE) team at Zinnov is to continue being a leading firm in the Global Talent era by enabling companies to Transform, Innovate and Grow faster - As we enable companies to leverage global talent by designing, building, and driving global centers of excellence (GCoE). As a Chief of Staff (CoS) to the leadership of our customer's GCoEs, the main goal is to make the center head (leader) more productive. A CoS' primary duty is to make time, information, and decision making more effective. - A CoS effectively serves 5 key roles (amongst others) air traffic controller, an integrator, a communicator, honest broker, and a confidant advisor to the leader by helping prioritize initiatives and tasks. A CoS is designed to be the only other person apart from leader with visibility across all possible workstreams, and hence is in a unique role and position to navigate the organization to success Key Responsibilities: - Act as an integrator connecting various workstreams such as finance, HR, talent acquisition, branding, engineering, IT, which otherwise could remain siloed - Be efficient communicator linking the leadership team and center to the broader organization - Act as the honest broker and truth teller when leader needs wide perspective without bias and customer's organizational agenda - Act as honest broker and truth teller at Zinnov for matters that require close attention - Act as an adviser and confidant to the Center Head and the senior management team to meet the objectives of CoE - Leverage Zinnov knowledge base and in-house experts, as necessary to enable the charter of the CoE - Assist the Center Head in facilitating effective decision-making, executive communication, governance, and reporting (tracking KPIs through executive dashboards) - Be a thought partner to leadership on the organization's vision, priorities, and challenges - Be an evangelist of the core values of the organization - Strategic Initiatives; Drive discrete projects on behalf of the center head and the leadership team which allow for higher growth and maturity of the CoE - Program Management; Monitor, support, track and ensure success in one-time and on-going efforts across functions such as Talent Acquisition, Finance, Operations, Facilities - Attend meetings with global functional teams, act as a liaison on behalf of the center leadership team - Own and run steering committee meetings with Executive Leadership Team to align on goals and track progress - Research & Competitive Intelligence; advise on industry benchmarking data and best practices - Project Management and Account Management Skillsets Required : - Capabilities in cross-functional Stakeholder management and program management - Excellent Project Management skills - Strong executive communication skills - Highly resourceful with ability to partner, execute, and lead through influence - Experience working with Executives (VP/CXO levels) - Ability to cross sell, upsell and build business opportunities by understanding the customer - 8-12 years of experience in Strategy, Operations and consultative roles or experience in management consulting - Ability to mentor team members - Ability to research, evaluate, analyze trends and data to build and present insights in a coherent manner - Data-driven decision maker with capability to tell a story backed by solid data Nice to have: - Knowledge/work experience in a Product Engineering or Software Product company - International work experience
