Zepto - Manager - Analytics

About Us:

Zepto is a fast-growing startup that delivers groceries in 10 minutes flat through an optimized network of dark stores that we're building across the country! We're scaling up throughout Mumbai quickly and, in the next 6 months, we'll be launching in Bangalore, Delhi, Pune and Hyderabad. We're currently in deep stealth-mode, so you wont find any press about us :)

We're incredibly well-funded and our investors include Y Combinator, Nexus Venture Partners, and more! We've also built out one of the best startup teams in India, with Senior Executives from Uber, Flipkart, Dream11 and institutions like Stanford, INSEAD, IIM, and IIT.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Create and execute various analytics projects to inform team strategy for internal stakeholders; including the development of reports, dashboards, and scripts/automation using Google Suite, SQL, Tableau, R, and Python

- You will work closely with the City General Manager to drive data-driven decision making

- Growth - collaborate with your peers in Marketing, Procurement, Assortment strategy and Operations to build & execute data-driven growth strategies.

- Identify process inefficiencies, build solutions, and drive operational efficiency (e.g. automating repeatable processes, weekly performance reporting)

- Run data backed, clean experiments that will challenge our assumptions and make Zepto better. You will have the tools to do things that have never been done before and also the freedom to fail fast.

Required Skills:

- Excellent SQL skills

- Experience with at least one data science programming language (Python or R preferred)

- Experience in problem-solving and proposing unique solutions to complex issues

- Experience in developing and executing on project proposals (end-to-end)

- Extreme attention to detail

- Outstanding work ethic and sense of urgency

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- A data-driven approach to making decisions and measuring performance

- Commitment to continuously improving (self and business)

- Technical proficiency in Google/Microsoft productivity tools.
