Zendrive - Director - Product Management (10-15 yrs)

Zendrive is executing rapidly on its mission of - making all ground transportation safer using data and analytics- and is focused on building products to support the evolution of transportation.

The Director of Product Management is a unique leadership role that will interface with business, product managers, data scientists and engineers in bringing together and execute a customer-focused product roadmap. As the director of product manager for the Zendrive, you will Work with business and product teams to identify, evaluate and prioritize the product roadmap for Zendrive.

Responsibilities:

- Be the product leader driving our strategic product and technology vision for the Core team

- Demand a business first approach and define and articulate the customer experience and impact for key stakeholders

- Be the - go-to- leader for multiple cross-functional teams to define the vision, outline the priorities and layout the tactical executions.

- Develop and execute a customer-focused product roadmap via close collaboration with senior leadership, Business Operations, Data Science, Analytics, Design and Engineering


- Translate customer and internal user needs into clear, well-defined functional and technical requirements backed by data analysis and deep understanding of the mapping landscape

- Guide and interface closely with Analytics/Science, Design and Engineering leaders to define scope, review, and refine technical capabilities, prioritize projects for release, and define new opportunities

- Manage and grow a team of product managers while providing development, mentorship, and excitement to exceed team and department goals

Experience & Skills

- Minimum of 10 years in product management or relevant experience in tech-related field

- Prior experience with managing a team of product managers, senior product managers in the past


- An academic background in Computer Science or related engineering discipline


- Fluent in engineering concepts to capture deeply technical requirements, and ability to translate them for non-technical audiences


- Strong communication, presentation, and client management skills across a diverse group of stakeholders

- Experience partnering with Business Operations, Finance, Business Leaders and GMs to manage the impact to profitability

- Ability to remain flexible and thrive in ambiguity


- Positive attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves and dig deep to achieve goals

- Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously


- Passion for zendrive and what we are trying to achieve in sustainable urban transportation

- Demonstrated experience managing and growing a team of product managers while providing development, mentor-ship, and excitement to exceed team and department goals

- Problem-solving passion and service orientation


- Effective in dealing with senior executives in customer organizations

- Demonstrated track history of working with nascent products/services in new markets

Bonus Points :

- MBA or Master's degreeIn depth knowledge of Data Science or Mobile or backend engg experience
