VP- Category Management : The Zee5 India Leadership team is looking to add an experienced, analytical, and results-driven business leader to help scale the business with proven category management and revenue-driving capabilities in online commerce businesses. The incumbent will be a key contributor to the revenue growth of both SVOD and AVOD verticals in Zee5 and will manage a team of fast-moving and result oriented professionals. This Role is focused on scaling efficiently by building best in class teams, processes, and tools. This individual will own the top line/ revenue agenda for the organization with key deliverables on increasing subscriptions, users, viewers, time spent, and building stickiness with a best in class customer experience. The incumbent should be an experienced online business professional and will have a responsibility to design, implement and drive revenue build-up initiatives while working with platform, content, and marketing teams. The successful candidate will have experience working with cross-functional product and tech teams to build innovative, new technology, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. He or she must have the analytical horsepower to break down complex problems, and a strong will to get stuff done and deliver results no matter the obstacles. The role's responsibilities include: The role will have several key responsibilities, including: - Category strategy and PnL ownership: Work closely with Leadership on planning and business strategy, drive best-in-class customer experience and maximize revenue growth through timely analysis and action. - Work with cross-functional marketing teams to co-own and optimize marketing strategy to meet yearly goals and using performance data to drive decision making - Business development: You will work closely with the Leadership team to help partner with strategic organizations and drive revenue with new opportunities. - Project management: Lead a variety of projects that impact the broader AVOD and SVOD business objectives. - Customer experience: Innovate with our product and tech teams to drive optimal customer experience across viewing platforms. The successful candidate must be able to: - Act as the - business owner- for his/her categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business (this entails owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the category, along with responsibility for driving strategic projects to achieve business objectives - Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential and use that knowledge to deliver site features that provide Zee5 customers with an unparalleled viewing experience - Create business plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating featuring and promotion strategies - Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines for high visibility projects - Demonstrated ability and willingness to operate autonomously, roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done; general manager/owner mentality. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, show strong ownership/commitment, have proven leadership experience in managing projects, and bring relevant insights in technology. Customer obsession is a must. Education and Experience : &nbsp; - MBA from a Tier 1 premier institution - 12-15 years of experience in Category and Revenue Management in consumer internet/e-commerce or online Media. - Exposure to the business outcome as quantified business objectives - Proven analytical skills and highly comfortable with numbers - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning, and task delegation - A proven track record of taking ownership and driving results - Broad commercial awareness developed in a fast-moving environment - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills - Experience in leading teams and people management required
