Job Title: Category Lead - Originals / Movies / Regional Reporting to:&nbsp; Head of Category (Supply), Subscription Video on Demand Location: Mumbai About ZEE5 ZEE5 is the OTT platform of the ZEE Network and is the fastest growing OTT platform in India. With a very strong subscription service, ZEE5 Premium, provides access to over 100 originals and Top Bollywood blockbusters, apart from 100,000+ hours of network content. Main Purpose &amp; Scope of the Job : Content is at the core of ZEE5. The role holder would lead the ZEE5 Originals (Series/Movies) marketing team which would launch and sustain ZEE5 Originals with the objective of acquiring new subscriptions and engaging and retaining existing subscribers. Key Roles &amp; Responsibilities: - Responsible for the P&amp;L of content. Own the process from Insight to Development to Selling of the content - Develop a deep understanding of consumers, taste clusters, and trends. Partner with data sciences on using data to develop consumer profiles &amp; audience insights based on internal &amp; external data. - Collaborate with the content team on developing/acquiring new content in line with the consumer understanding - Lead marketing of ZEE5 Originals Series/Movies/Acquired Content - Develop the communication strategy and create the marketing strategy for each Original Series/Movie/Acquired Movie keeping in mind targets for acquiring new subscriptions, and engaging &amp; retaining of existing subscribers - Execute the marketing plan by working with internal colleagues (Creative, CLM, PR, Social, Performance, Platform &amp; BD teams) and external agencies (Creative, Media, Activation and Social) - Plan and execute on the ongoing analysis of the shows, key business drivers, trends and performance indicators. - Lead the management of creative, media and activation agency partners to ensure scalable and integrated marketing campaigns Education and experience : - MBA from a Tier 1 premier institution - 8-12 years of experience in marketing or category management in FMCG, telecom, consumer internet / eCommerce or Media - Exposure to marketing outcome as quantified business objectives - Experience in using 360-degree marketing across multiple medias - Exposure to multi-crore marketing budget across TV + Radio + Outdoor + Activation - Understanding of marketing in a digital environment - Strong background in consumer insights and campaign planning and execution - Very strong analytical and problem-solving mindset - Experience in leading teams and people management required
