Category Head, Kids, and Games The Zee5 AVOD team is looking to add an experienced, results-driven business leader to help scale a new category that targets providing entertaining and skill-building content to Kids while ensuring parents' aspirations of skill-building of kids are taken care of. This individual will own the development of the category with key deliverables on increasing users, time spent, and building stickiness with a best in class customer experience. The category head will be responsible for: - Developing category strategy for driving penetration: including business and opportunity analysis, identifying content requirements and offerings, feeding unique service provider and consumer requirements back into the business, and driving unit and revenue growth within the category through timely analysis and action. - Content Provider management: manage key Service Provider relationships to help them build their business on Zee5. - Technical project management: working with our technology teams to drive projects that will enhance our platform, customer, and site experience. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, show strong ownership/commitment, have proven leadership experience in managing projects, and bring relevant insights into technology. Customer obsession is a must. Job Description : - Responsible for the P&amp;L of the category. Own the end 2 end process from getting traffic through marketing to improving online viewing experience, to ensuring higher levels of engagement on the platform and building repeat stickiness with superior customer experience. - Develop a deep understanding of consumers, taste clusters, and trends. Partner with data sciences on using data to develop consumer profiles &amp; audience insights based on internal &amp; external data. - Collaborate with the content team on developing/acquiring new Kids content in line with the consumer understanding - Develop the business and marketing strategy for content consumption, acquiring new users from the platform, and engaging &amp; retaining of existing users. - Execute the business plan while collaborating with internal stakeholders (Creative, CLM, PR, Social, Performance, Platform &amp; BD teams) and external agencies (Creative, Media, Activation, and Social) - Plan and execute on the ongoing analysis of the content consumption trends, key business drivers, and performance indicators. - Work with Marketing teams and align the management of creative, media, and activation agency partners to ensure scalable and integrated marketing campaigns Education and Experience : - MBA from a Tier 1 premier institution - 8-12 years of experience in marketing or category management in online Kids entertainment portals, consumer internet/e-commerce, or online Media. - Exposure to the business outcome as quantified business objectives - Proven analytical skills and highly comfortable with numbers - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning, and task delegation - A proven track record of taking ownership and driving results - Broad commercial awareness developed in a fast-moving environment - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills - Experience in leading teams and people management required ZEE5 is the OTT platform of the ZEE Network and is the fastest growing OTT platform in India.
