Vice President - Technology - Z1 Media is a fast growing technology company which innovates and operates cutting edge media and advertising platforms. Our products reach more than 300 million users every month and serve petabytes of rich media content. Founded in 2015, Z1 Media is based in Mountain View, California with offices in New Delhi and Hong Kong. - We are looking for VP - Tech who will lead technology for all of Z1, work closely with various Tech Leads in divisions to build products and modules as per timelines. Own, lead and deliver the strategy, management and execution of all the technology/development aspects for Z1. Set and achieve aggressive build timelines and targets. Hire right team to execute. Ensure timelines are met. Responsibilities : - Work with product managers for product roadmap development - Define timelines and targets for the development objectives - Hire and structure the necessary team to execute - Work closely with tech leads to solve issues Requirements : - Strong experience with web technologies ( PHP, LAMP, Laravel, MySQL, Python, Node, JS, jQuery ) - Strong experience with front-end web tech ( CSS, HTML, Javascript, Bootstrap, other frameworks ) - Strong experience with server environments ( CentOS, Unix, Linux, Apache, Nginx, Varnish, MongoDB ) - Strong experience with API usage and development ( Json, AWS, IFTTT, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bing API's ) - Experience with mobile OS also preferred ( Android studio, Xcode ) - Experience of managing and leading teams senior and junior engineers. - Experience of working at scale with hundreds of servers and millions of users is necessary. - Experience of working + establishing fast-paced work environments.
