Youth4Jobs - Manager - Partnerships

- Youth 4 Jobs vision is hands-on, the grass-root transformation of People with Disability (PwD) at the country level and a thought leader at the global level. Y4J works in the challenging but high impact space of mainstreaming hiring of youth with disabilities in workplaces. The work is driven by the mantra that hiring PwDs makes business sense. 

- Y4J has job-linked skilling centres in 32 locations in 15 states of India, focusing on PwD employability/employment. Y4J USP is it is Pan India, has a pipeline of trained, educated and less educated youth with disabilities and is a one-stop-shop for companies offering a range of services. In the last 7 yrs, Y4J has emerged as the largest organisation in this space. 

- It has trained 18,000 young men and women with disability. 30% of the trainees are girls with disability. Y4J has touched over 280,000 households in advocacy. Y4J works closely with about 500 companies of which 200 are first-time hirers of Persons with Disabilities. The work has won several awards - both National and International.

ROLE OF MANAGER - PARTNERSHIPS:

1. Explore & initiate new funding & Other partnerships

2. Handle Special projects for Youth4Jobs.

2. Anchoring all events like Alumni Meets, University Events, the launch of studies etc.

3. Any other task as and when required.
