Yes Securities - Strategy Partner - Wealth Broking (2-5 yrs)

Role Description:

Strategic partner at a bank-promoted, full-scale capital markets intermediary who is responsible for business planning, conceptualizing and driving digital business initiatives, promoting process improvements and business innovation, cost and productivity optimization, broad strategic guidance as well as extending general project management support across the rapidly expanding business units

Specific Role Responsibilities:

1. Actively partner business leaders in budgeting, business planning, manpower planning and business development including branding and marketing initiatives

2. Define and monitor key business performance metrics for traditional and digital business channels, and present actionable solutions in discussion with management

3. Ideate, design and spearhead implementation of high-impact digitization projects and business transformation initiatives

4. Shadow business teams to gain deeper insights of business dynamics, client relationship management and other key processes to help support the strategic solutioning process

5. Identify and actualize strategic synergies that can be derived with parent Bank and other business partners including emerging technologies and fintechs

6. Perform oversight of select/ key projects ensuring cross-functional coordination and timely progress

7. Independently lead strategic initiatives specific to the business unit in close coordination with top and senior management

8. Perform periodic business assessments and industry/ global benchmarking

9. Contribute to continuous organizational improvement: Understand organizational/ business goals; Apply industry best practices; Ideate, plan and implement business-accretive and cost-control measures

10. Support in coordination, preparation and finalization of Board-related matters

11. Support HCM with performance measurement and productivity enhancement initiatives

12. Collaborate with support functions such as Finance, Marketing, HCM, IT, etc. to maintain BU-organizational synergies

Skill Sets:

Education Qualifications Graduate from reputed institutes; CA; CFA

Education / Certification needed, if any

Specialist functional Exposure needed, if any Strategy, Product management, Client relationship management, Growth marketing, Digital transformation, Project management, basic understanding of stock markets and larger capital markets ecosystem

Industry Experience:

Specific Sector Experience required

(please mention details) Direct or indirect (minimum) prior experience in Broking, , Fintechs, Asset Management, Institutional Research & Sales, Investment Banking, PE, VC. Background in NBFC, MSME Banking, Strategy & Consulting also considered.

Competencies Required: (Behavioral & Technical / Functional)

1. Strong inter-personal and communication skills to understand, build trust and meaningfully engage and influence stakeholders while maintaining adherence to management objectives

2. Ability to deal with uncertainty, adjusting course as per circumstances while keeping sight of strategic objectives

3. Understanding of capital markets industry landscape and the role of various market intermediaries including brokers, investment banks, merchant banks, etc.

4. Knowledge of or fair exposure to primary and secondary market operations as well as investment banking practices such as M&A, Private Equity, ECM, DCM, etc.

5. Understanding of client relationship management, growth marketing and digital sales best practices

6. Work-ethic that showcases a pro-active approach, perseverance, teamwork, good time-management and sincerity in execution of responsibilities

7. Absorbent personality that is able "learn on the job" and effectively develop and implement business-positive solutions
