The role will be to actively support deal origination and execution related to Pharma/Chemicals Sectors. The incumbent is expected to assist deal managers/ sector leaders in market research, sector coverage, pitch preparation, sell side/ buy side deal execution, coordination with funds and strategic investors, deal closure activities etc. Please note where the role is specific to a sector, the incumbent is expected to get exposure in other sectors as well. The role offered is a front end IB role - prior experience in front end roles/ client interaction experience would be a positive. Specific Role Responsibilities / Core Duties : 1. Awareness about Pharma / Chemical sector - Prior experience in running Sell side/ Buy side Investment Banking mandates would be positive 2. Preparation of deliverables including Information Memorandum, Financial Model, Term Sheet etc.. 3. Responsible for active relationships with Clients 4. Working relationship with potential VCs, PE Funds, Strategic Investors 5. Preparation of deal tracker and MIS maintenance for review 6. Compliance with internal requirements Education/Knowledge /Skills/Abilities / Personality traits : CA or CFA or Master's Degree (MBA) from a reputed institute - Skills Deal Collateral preparations - Abilities Detail orientation - Motivated/ Takes initiative/ Task ownership/ Quick Learner
