Yes Bank - Senior Manager - Testing (6-8 yrs)
Skills/Key Responsibilities:
- The candidate will have responsibilities in the following areas:
Test Management:
- Interact with the Project Manager from the Technology team for requirements, planning, scheduling and execution of testing activities
- Create test strategy [if applicable] and test cases
- Execute test cases and publish results
- Publish regular reports on the overall status of the project wrt testing activities.
- Give recommendations/sign-offs on status of the module wrt to test execution results
- Constantly look at avenues to automate rote testing
- Ensure proper documentation for every test activity conducted
Key Competencies / skill set:
- 6-8 years of experience in manual testing in Digital, Banking domain.
- Hands-on experience as a manual tester
- Conceptual clarity of the different types of testing and its linkage to stages in project life cycle, Clarity on the various deliverables per test stage and importance of sign-off
- Excellent Interpersonal skills and the ability to create collaborative business relationships
- Experience facilitating work groups & strong co-ordination skills
- Strong problem solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies
- Excellent communication (verbal & writer) & presentation skills
- Effective time management skills, highly organized & process oriented
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Hands-on experience of functional and non functional automation testing tools
- Experience in leading a team of 4-8 team members
Qualifications - BE in Electronics & Telecom /Computer Science
Experience: 6-8 years of experience in this role
