Yatra.com - Senior Service Manager - Luxury Travel (5-10 yrs)

Reporting: Luxury Travel Advisor
Location: Gurgaon
Education: Post-graduate / PG Diploma in Travel preferred
Experience: Minimum 5 years of selling international holidays
Job Responsibilities
- Provide travel assistance to your clients, including booking airfare, hotels, cruises, activities, tours, transportation, reservations, etc.
- Design exclusive itineraries and give quotations based on your client's travel preferences
- Confirm availability and pricing in a prompt, professional, and organized manner
- Leverage preferred travel suppliers to ensure the best rates and amenities for your clients
- Constantly study and learn new destinations, and preferred suppliers, including attending educational events and webinars, meeting with suppliers, and completing certified destination training
- Process bookings and documentation, including itineraries, tickets, and visas
Requirements to Succeed
- Previous hands-on experience in travel and holiday booking necessary
- Deep knowledge of domestic and international destinations
- Positive, tenacious attitude and a willingness to constantly learn
- Excellent customer service orientation in designing itineraries
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining complex records, itineraries, tickets etc.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Necessary Skills :
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Client Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Good knowledge of Global Distribution System (GDS) - Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre CRS ticketing
- Must be familiar with itinerary costing, including for flights and hotels
- Ability to maintain query sheets on a daily basis, and efficiency in reverting on emails within TAT
- Capability to work under pressure of timelines and changing itineraries / rates
- Attention to detail is essential for succeeding in this role
