Job Brief : - We are searching for a high-performing sales team member to help us in the expansion in the modern trade & e-commerce markets. - He/she will be responsible for developing the modern trade channel and enhancing the brand appearance & maximizing the profits for the Company. Key Responsibilities : - The incumbent will be responsible for preparing the Modern Trade sales strategy & growth plans in line with business strategy. - He/she will be responsible to drive profitability and deliver on the Revenue and profit parameters. - He/she should have the ability to drive the operations efficiently for the modern trade channel. - He/she will be responsible for retail sales growth supported by expanded distribution, opening new accounts & managing existing accounts. - The person will be responsible for handling Trade Activation for MT Accounts for Merchandising Activities like new launches, Visibility, and Promotions conducted at the account level. - He/she will be responsible for monitoring performance and taking corrective actions - He/she will have to work closely with Business Head in achieving the company's goals - The person should have the ability to make decisions on matters relating to the day to day retail operations within their defined work, including the strategic planning and converting the strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve the required targeted growth in sales and profit - The person will be responsible for producing and presenting a range of financial/non-financial reports to the team at regular intervals. Role Profile : - Align and execute trade marketing and trade promotions interventions with the modern trade sales strategy and overall business strategy. - Generate sales through modern trade retail accounts like Big Bazaar, DMart, ABRL, Spencers, etc & through direct Cash and Carry accounts like Metro Cash & Carry, Walmart etc., and few independent self-service stores for the allocated area. - Negotiations & servicing of the PO in coordination with the internal teams to give a customer experience - Analysis and studying competitors on a timely basis. Provide trade information, competitor's activities, and market intelligence to the company. Generates ideas about future retail activities of MT to ensure a cutting edge strategy; maintains up-to-date knowledge of the marketplace, competitors, and trends. - Achieving consistent growth by managing various internal and external stakeholders. - Manage Accounts receivables, Responsible for debt collection, and resolve all long outstanding debts. - Resolve customer's trade-related issues, complaints, and operational matters. - Manage and review outstation outlets through a frequent market visit and liaising with local Sales Management - Manage Trade Marketing Budgets and maintain a high degree of commercial discipline. Person Profile : - MBA with 7-9 years of experience and at least 4 years exposure to Modern Trade from FMCG Background. - Analytical & Critical Thinking skills should be able to use logic & reasoning to justify the strengths & weaknesses of the alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. - Persuasive, Judgement & decision making skills. Time management. - Proven ability to problem-solving & negotiations - Proven ability to position products against competitors - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
