Yardstick Educational Initiatives - Manager - Marketing (1-5 yrs)

Primary Responsibilities :

1. Brand marketing for Education/Education-tech.

2. Generate leads with an eye on improving conversions across the funnel.

3. Responsible for product positioning and messaging across website, emails, social media, ads, PR and all other customer-facing channels.

4. Manage marketing channels including AdWords (Search and Display), LinkedIn, Social and others.

5. Develop customer success stories and case studies. Get organic PR/blog traction in the right channels to the right audience.

6. Define the marketing mix, understand and measure costs of customer acquisition vs. lifetime value of the customers and measure business performance against targets on an on-going basis.

7. Design and implement processes to manage the end-to-end customer lifecycle starting from driving awareness and stimulating trial to enhance loyalty and repeat purchases.

8. Build a high level of empathy for the end users of the product and be the voice of these users within the company to drive on-going usability and user experience improvements

9. Influencer/Publisher management

10. Innovations and industry benchmarking for the brand

11. Organise conferences & workshops at the city level.

12. Responsible for all the needs towards collaterals, sales kit, etc.

Essential Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) :

1. Looking for an engineering/MBA graduate with a genuine passion for product marketing

2. Core marketing skills will include Account Based Marketing, Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Event Planning & Execution, Marketing Automation, and Marketing Analytics.

3. Strong bias for action with quick iteration

4. Demonstrable experience in leading and managing SEO/SEM, email & SMM.

5. Experience working with industry tools and analytics packages including web analytics (google analytics/webmasters tools) and MS Excel

6. Demonstrate experience in consumer marketing, managing projects with multiple stakeholders and multi-tasking between various projects

7. Excellent communication and data presentation skills that allow you to clearly, compellingly, and effectively influence audiences internally and externally, across organization boundaries.

8. Excellent understanding of all social media platforms and an active resident

9. Strong communication and copy-writing skills.

10. Well versed with driving operations in line with the product and customer goals.
