Associate Director Network Optimization and Transportation (Process Excellence)

Job overview : He/ She will be responsible to transform the current network footprint in XpressBees for cost and speed through definition of operational constructs and processes in Transportation business.

Job Description :

- Lead the solution design for large scale transport network & hub operations

- Standardize the processes in Transportation Hubs for faster in-bound and out-bound of items and faster turnarounds

- Constantly challenge the network footprint for cost optimization and improved speed and reliability

- Work closely with stakeholders to define systems and KPI's to suit the business priorities that evolves time to time

- Facilitate Documentation of processes and work with stakeholders for an effective change management

- Segmentation of Transportation vendors and performance evaluation to constantly improve the service Quality

- Support Operations team in problem solving for seamless execution of processes

- Liaise with Zonal Design team members for capturing Zonal nuances and faster deployment of structural solves

Skillsets :

- Sound understanding of the Surface cargo industry & air cargo industry and excellent networking

- Awareness about technology trends in transportation, network planning and vehicle tracking

- Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills

- Ability to influence other leaders & teams and align them towards the common, shared objectives

- Stakeholder Management skills

- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Qualification :

- Postgraduate from tier 1/2 Engineering or Business schools

- Experience of 8-10 years with at least 4-5 years in e-commerce set up, 2-3 years in Network Optimization and Transportation/Cargo Operations

- Knowledge on Transport Management System

- Strong Communication and presentation skills

- Six Sigma GB/BB Certified
