XL Group - Consultant - Financial Reporting (1-5 yrs)
We are looking for someone who has these values, abilities and skills:
- Strong Analytical, troubleshooting & Problem Solving skills, Communication Skills.
- Strong database programming Skills in SQL (Structured Query Language) Server and MS Access.
- Functions/ Stored Procedures.
- Experienced in SQL Server query optimization and Fine tuning.
- Strong application programming skills in VB (Visual Basic) 6.0 / VBA
- RDBMS (Relational Database Management System): SQL Server 2008.
- Database Tools: SQL Server Management Studio, Query Analyzer.
- Experience of source and version control, and establishing and adhering to quality standards
- Experience in handling large databases.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with the Actuarial team to report results of analysis to senior management.
- Develop analytical model/tools.
- The job involves handling large databases and design & automation of manual processes.
